The Islamic Council of Victoria is once again offering young Muslim women the opportunity to participate in an exciting leadership training program commencing in March 2018
In partnership with VU Sir Zelman Cowen Centre at Victoria University, the Aspire Program offers a unique leadership and governance training program for high-achieving young Muslim women. The program is fully funded and open to aspiring young Muslim women, aged from 18 to 24, with the potential to exercise a positive influence among their peers and community. This highly customised program will build leadership capability, strengthen advocacy skills and increase confidence dealing with barriers to change. In addition to teaching direct skills, the course will support the development of community networks through a program of training and mentorship.
Young women from newly arrived communities are especially encouraged to apply.
