Open letter to ABC regarding biased moderation of Q&A panel on 13.11.2023

We write to express our deep concern about the biased moderation of the Q&A episode that featured a panel attempting to address the Israel-Palestine conflict from a "balanced" approach. Given the importance of this show, we call upon the ABC to carry out a review of this episode.

There was another focus on this Q&A episode to silence Mr Mohamad Tabbaa and the Muslim community whose views represent the Palestinian cause given that there were clear persistent attempts to dismiss the validity and legitimacy of pro-Palestinian perspectives.

The overall comments of the Muslim community was that they saw this as the latest attempt by the ABC to suppress legitimate pro-Palestinian viewpoints in favour of pro-Israel perspectives.

There were several attempts directed to restrain and dismiss Mr Tabbaa compared to other panellists who were promoting pro-Israel narratives and perspectives.
