Dialogue & Friendship Across Faiths
For decades, the ICV has built genuine relationships across Victoria’s faith communities — grounded in dialogue, mutual respect and shared advocacy for justice. This work remains central to promoting understanding, compassion and unity across the state.
The ICV is an active member of the Faith Communities Council of Victoria, working with leaders from diverse religious backgrounds on statewide interfaith initiatives and collective responses to shared moral and ethical concerns.
Building Bridges
Activities have included interfaith Iftars in metropolitan and regional Victoria, enduring partnerships with First Nations organisations, participation in multicultural and multifaith celebrations across the state, and joint advocacy on issues of shared concern, such as the humane treatment of refugees and people seeking asylum.
